Meet the Team


Christopher Gregory, President

Chris is a senior at Baruch College majoring in Finance with a minor in Advanced Data Analytics. He has been a member of FES since his freshman year, participating in the Financial Analyst and Investment Banking Program, and subsequently becoming the instructor of the Investment Banking Program, and Secretary. His past experiences include working in risk advisory, corporate banking, equity trading, and investment banking. During this past summer, Chris interned at Barclays in the International Corporate Banking division, where he will be returning for full-time. Currently, Chris serves as the President of the club. In his free time, Chris enjoys boxing, reading, and playing video games.

Georgios Pefanis, Vice President

Georgios Pefanis is a junior majoring in finance at Baruch. He is currently the Vice President of FES. Previously, Georgios took part in the Mentorship and Financial Analyst Programs. He has gained internship experience in commercial real estate, private equity, accounting and investment banking at various firms. Georgios is a huge soccer fan and enjoys spending quality time with friends and family. He emphasizes the pivotal role FES has played in assisting him in his efforts to break into the industry, and remains especially invested in the value of the Mentorship Program.

Mayra Olazo, Treasurer

Mayra is a junior at the Zicklin School of Business majoring in Finance and minoring in Computer Science. She has completed all three programs at FES: Mentorship, Financial Analyst, and Investment Banking. Mayra has previously served on the board as the Chair of Events and Chair of Research - she is currently the treasurer. In her free time, Mayra enjoys listening to all types of music and watching Formula One. She looks forward to another great semester in FES!

Anthony Gaggi, Secretary/Mentorship Program Instructor

Anthony is a junior at Baruch majoring in Finance and minoring in Business Analytics. He started in the Finance and Economics Society as a mentee in the first semester of his freshman year, advancing into the Investment Banking Program in the following semester. He then became an instructor for the Investment Banking Program, before transitioning to instructing the Mentorship Program, while taking on the role of secretary. He accredits FES to his knowledge and experience in the Financial Services industry, and believes that its capabilities as a network of driven individuals provides an invaluable resource for those who have a hunger for learning. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and listening to the Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

Joie Teh, Financial Analyst Program Instructor

Joie is a senior at Baruch majoring in Computer Information Systems. Despite having a focus on Computer Information Systems and Data Analytics, Joie has always been interested in finance from a young age and hopes that her experiences in the Finance & Economics Society (FES) will compliment her future career path. Joie joined FES in her sophomore year, where she completed the Financial Analyst program (FA). She mentioned that the FA program helped her develop essential skills and valuable connections in the finance industry. During her free time, Joie loves cafe hopping and exploring the city. She is excited to contribute to the FES and meet new members!

Jazmin Solano, Financial Analyst Program Instructor

Jazmin Solano, a junior majoring in Finance at the Zicklin School of Business from Queens, is currently serving as a Financial Analyst program instructor in the Finance & Economics Society (FES). Previously, she participated in the Financial Analyst and Mentorship Programs. In her free time, she enjoys watching sitcoms and volunteering around campus with USG.

Mahira Lewis, Investment Banking Program Instructor

Mahira Lewis is a junior Finance major at the Zicklin School of Business, co-instructing the Investment Banking program at the Finance & Economics Society (FES). She has been an active member of FES, participating in the mentorship, financial analyst, and investment banking programs. Mahira is currently recruiting for Investment Banking positions and is passionate about helping others achieve their career goals. In her free time, she enjoys watching Formula One and reading books. Mahira credits FES for continually helping her learn the conceptual facets of the Financial Services industry.

Michelle Tang, Investment Banking Program Instructor

Michelle is a senior at Baruch College majoring in Finance and double minoring CS and Quantitative Methods and Modeling. Since joining FES, she has participated in the Financial Analyst and Investment Banking programs as well as served as Chair of Research and TA before co-instructing the Investment Banking program.  FES has been an integral resource and community for Michelle, and she will continue reinvesting into the next class of finance students. Outside of school and FES, she enjoys reading and sightseeing.

Denys Kruchynenko, Investment Banking TA

Denys is a sophomore at Baruch College majoring in Finance. He has been a member of FES since freshman year, participating in the Mentorship and Financial Analyst programs and subsequently becoming the Investment Banking Program TA. Denys has a variety of work experiences, including investment banking, venture capital, and markets. During his free time, Denys likes to play basketball, produce music, and go out with his friends.

Arthur Terehoff, Co-Chair of Events

Arthur is a junior at Baruch majoring in Finance and minoring in business analytics. He joined FES in his sophomore year by participating in the Financial Analyst and Investment Banking programs, and now serves as Co-Chair of Events. His past experiences include private equity, risk management, and sales. During this past summer, Arthur interned at Wellence, a small startup company in the UK, as a sales intern. Outside of FES and academics, Arthur is a huge soccer fan (Liverpool FC supporter), plays golf, and enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.

Yogesh Ramdial, Co-Chair of Events

Yogesh is a sophomore at Baruch majoring in Finance from Queens, NY. He currently serves as Chair of Events in the Finance and Economics Society. During this past summer, Yogesh interned at NuVerse Advisors as an investment management intern. Yogesh has been a member of FES since his freshman year and has completed FES’ Financial Analyst and Investment Banking programs. In his free time he actively trains MMA and loves all things combat sports.

Alexis Jacob, Co-Chair of Research/Mentorship Program TA

Alexis is a sophomore at Baruch College majoring in Finance with a minor in Advanced Business Analytics. She has been a member of FES since freshman year, participating in the Mentorship and Financial Analyst programs, and subsequently becoming the Mentorship Program TA and Co-Chair of Research. This past summer she passed her SIE exam (Securities Industry Essentials) and currently works as an accounting intern. During her free time, Alexis likes to play tennis, go skiing, and go out with her friends.

Kevin Guroodat, Co-Chair of Research

Kevin is a sophomore at Baruch majoring in Finance from Queens, NY. He has been a member of FES since his freshman year, participating in the Mentorship and Investment Banking Analyst Program, and currently serves as the Chair of Research. His past experiences include equity trading, portfolio management, and alternative investment management. During the past summer, Kevin interned at the NYC Comptrollers Office in the Alternative Investments Asset Management division. In his free time, Kevin enjoys watching football and playing basketball. 


Jagmeet Minhas, Chair of Technology

Jagmeet Minhas, currently a junior majoring in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Data Analytics, has been a part of FES since his freshman year. His journey began in the FA program, and he swiftly progressed to the IB program in the subsequent semester. Currently serving as the Chair of Technology on the board, Jagmeet attributes his growth in technical skills and network development to his time at FES. Grateful for the opportunities provided, he spent his freshman summer interning at Google as a research assistant, and his sophomore summer at the CUNY Tech Prep fellowship, fueling his aspirations to enter the FinTech sector.

Yun, Chair of Marketing

Yun is a sophomore at Baruch under the Macaulay Honors program, majoring in marketing management with a concentration in advertising and minoring in New York City studies. She joined the FES marketing team in her first semester as a Marketing Analyst and now is the Chair of Marketing. Yun’s past experiences include marketing internships for Bloomberg Philanthropies, CUNY Communications, and other cultural institutions. FES has given Yun opportunities to grow her skills in graphic design and social media management. She is excited to help FES grow and provide guidance to other marketers. In her free time, Yun likes to spend time with family and friends, trying new foods, and being active.
